(1)レバノン東部、西部のレバノン山脈(the Lebanon Moun-tains)と東部のアンチレバノン山脈(the Anti-Lebanon Moun-tains)との間に、北北東から南南西に広がる高地。 ｢ベッカー高原｣,｢ベカー渓谷([英]Beqaa Valley)｣とも呼ぶ。
